Best wishes ❣️ for a wonderful Holiday Season 🎄 and a Happy New 🧨 Year from the Sustainable Building Design Lab Team.

I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and the entire SBD Lab team for being with us. This year we hosted researchers from Belgium, Chile, France, India, Iraq, Iran, Italy, and Madagascar at the Sustainable Building Design Lab, School of Engineering, Liege University.

I would like to thank my students, colleagues, and collaborators (Olivier De Wispelaere) for their hard work while preparing to enter the staff shortage and the institution's underperforming reality. Many of those problems influenced our lab's performance, including structural staff shortage, lack of office spaces, overheated and cold offices, unsustainable funding, underperforming institutions, and the implication of the war in Ukraine. I hope 🙌 next year will allow us to enjoy the presence of our loved ones 💝, reduce the work pressure, meet our challenges ✨, and achieve our goals 🎀.
