Building Simulation 2023: Call for abstracts
I submitted my abstract for BS2023 in Shanghai, China. ✈️ 4-6 Sept. 2023.
The International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) is my Number #1 research 🧑🤝🧑 community. I attended all its international conferences since I joined academia in 2008. Besides networking and opening up a wide door of collaboration I learned two important things:
1.How to make sure that my 🔑research is 🎆 novel and 🧨contributes to science.
2.How to increase the ⚔️ rigor in my research.
IBPSA is very serious and they have a Q1 journal and network of rigorous 👩🔬scientists and scholars worldwide. The 📰journal has two exceptional editors:
-Ian Beausoleil-Morrison - Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Carleton University, Canada
-Jan Hensen - Building Physics & Services, Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlandshttps://www.tandfonline.com/toc/tbps20/current
Next year's conference will be organized by Da Yan and YIQUN P. and the topics to be covered:
-Smart building systems
-Simulating future metropolis
-Modeling for the digital world
-Performance-driven design
-Human-centered simulation/design
I encourage all researchers and professionals who work in the building performance simulation 🏟️ world to attend the conference. For early career researchers who work on urban and building performance analysis: This should be your community. 👍 Come and join us.
