[Project Closure] IEA Annex 80 on Resilient Cooling of Buildings

Our 8th Expert Meeting of the International Energy Agency Annex 80 - Resilient Cooling of Buildings occurred on April 20-21, 2023, in Vienna, Austria. Since our last expert meeting, we have finalized the simulation guideline, regulations review, case study reports, REHVA guideline, weather files data set and the technology fact sheets. This was the last meeting after four successful years with colleagues from the USA, Japan, Australia and Europe. The Annex started in October 2019 and will end in October 2023.

During four years of collaboration with international experts, we aimed to systematically estimate the role of carbon-neutral cooling technologies coupled with renewable energy sources including neutral grids in future building cooling systems.
