Switch from coal straight to renewable energies

‘It is time to switch straight to renewables, including heat pumps, which is now cheaper than coal-to-gas 💨 shift, but what about 👷 labor and 💎materials 🩳shortages?

Two years ago, during my visit to Poland, I dreamed that Poland could directly switch from ⬛ coal to ☀️ renewables without passing by💨 natural gas. I never imagined that this would come true. Today the switch is happening, but another problem emerged.

The 👷labor and 💎material shortage is slowing the energy transition. A shortage of personnel and basic 💎materials are the main constraints to the pace of the energy transition. The EU is confronted with a lack of 👷 skilled labor to support the building🏗️ renovation wave.

The main issue for the construction industry is that it has adopted a business model focused on 💰 cheaper and precarious 👷 labor instead of training and good working conditions, which makes it less 🧲 attractive for workers.

Why is it always like that? We get out of the (🥘frying) pan to fall into the 🔥 fire!

We are always short-term-minded valorizing profit above the 🌍 planet and 🧑‍🤝‍🧑people.
