[Video] Novelty in Research

Novelty in research refers to introducing a new idea 🎯or a unique perspective that adds to the existing knowledge in a particular field of study. It involves bringing something fresh and new 🚀 to the scientific landscape that has not been done before or exploring an existing topic in a new and innovative way. Novelty is not necessarily about 🔻creating new methods; It can be about seeing old things from a new perspective, particularly if the authors can reveal new evidence. Novelty means something 🔻unique in the field or scope you're analyzing. It can be a new methodology or a new theme that sets the stage for new knowledge. The goal is to highlight the novelty of your research. and answer the following questions:

✅ How can we ensure the novelty of my research? (article, thesis, dissertation).

1. Novelty 🔻02:33
2. Positioning 🔻08:28
3. Types & Tools for Novelty 🔻17:25
4. Added Value Quad Chart 🔻25:14
5. Novelty in Article 🔻30:58
6. Example 🔻37:32
7. Takeaway 🔻43:00

🌟Novelty is highly subjective🤹‍♀️and can be biased 🎭 because it is defined based on the perception of something as being new by an 🐒 individual person or a 🐒🐒🐒 group of persons. Therefore, it is important to get as close as possible to your scientific community by reading its members' recent publications and attending conferences and meetings that make you understand how your research community defines novelty. I advise you to develop a community-proofed list of topics that your community defines as 🎖novel to start with. See this video on the 🎁Foundation of Scientific Writing: https://lnkd.in/eKtJUyhx
