[Video] Open Source Coding

Open ๐Ÿ“–, reproducible research includes sharing the raw data, codes, and ๐Ÿงพ programming scripts in open source. If you use ๐Ÿ Python, Java or Matlab to any other ๐Ÿงพ programming language, you can share it so that others can use it and cite or even continue its development and build on it. Open Code refers to author-generated code used in scientific research and made ๐Ÿ“ข publicly available under an Open Access license. The ๐Ÿงพ code can be made available via a linked ๐Ÿ—„๏ธrepository or as supporting information. This video explains how to share your ๐Ÿงพ code via ๐Ÿˆ GitHub. GitHub is a code hosting platform for version control and collaboration. It lets you and others work together on projects from anywhere for software development and open-source coding.
