[Video] Publishing A Data Article in Data in Brief
π Do you π¨ π» have a dataset ποΈ that you wish to publish π± as a ποΈ Data Article π€?
π Do you know the difference between a dataset repository ποΈ, a data article ποΈ, and a classical journal article π€?
This presentation aims to understand the meaning and value of publishing π± a dataset article and encourage π¦ researchers to publish π±π their datasets ποΈ in the Journal of Data in Brief as an example.
There is a serious need to make datasets available ποΈ and publish data articles ποΈ. Data articles allow scientists to describe and share raw data, participate in Open Science π¬οΈ, and satisfy funder requirements π. In this video, I provide detailed guidanceποΈ to authors π¦ to publish π± their dataset articles ποΈ in line with the journal's scope and how to submit data articles to Data in Brief. In Brief, data publishes articles for which the data have been made publicly available π’ in such a ποΈ repository π¨ π». I will also discuss the importance of data repositories and how to encourage other researchers to useβ»οΈ your dataset β€οΈ.
