👀 Do you 👨 💻 have a dataset 🗃️ that you wish to publish 🌱 as a 🗂️ Data Article 🤔?

👀 Do you know the difference between a dataset repository 🗃️, a data article 🗂️, and a classical journal article 🤔?

This presentation aims to understand the meaning and value of publishing 🌱 a dataset article and encourage 🦅 researchers to publish 🌱🍂 their datasets 🗃️ in the Journal of Data in Brief as an example.

There is a serious need to make datasets available 🗃️ and publish data articles 🗂️. Data articles allow scientists to describe and share raw data, participate in Open Science 🌬️, and satisfy funder requirements 📇. In this video, I provide detailed guidance🗝️ to authors 🦅 to publish 🌱 their dataset articles 🗂️ in line with the journal's scope and how to submit data articles to Data in Brief. In Brief, data publishes articles for which the data have been made publicly available 📢 in such a 🗃️ repository 👨 💻. I will also discuss the importance of data repositories and how to encourage other researchers to use♻️ your dataset ❤️.
