[Video] Reproducibility in Experimental Research

[Video] Reproducibility in Experimental Research

You must have heard of the reproducibility crisis, a crisis that impacts the methodology of scientific research. Over time, it has been realized by several bodies that the results of many scientific studies are hard or almost impossible to accurately reproduce.

Reproducibility is the ability to duplicate results using the same raw data. Reproducibility is the successful reproduction of the original data by independent reanalysis using the same analytic approach. Plan and design your experiment to allow for reproduction by yourself or others. And make your data available so that others can use your work, follow it up, check it and build on it. This video takes through the topic of reproducibility of research in comparison with replicability to make you aware of both concepts. Also, the video provides insights on how to make your research reproducible. The presentation is divided into four sections.

1. Reproducibility 00:54
2. How to achieve reproducibility 04:37
3. Reporting and Error Bars 10:18
4. Take Away 12:56
